During the pandemic Mel a former songwriter 
and West End performer in The Rocky Horror 
Show, started writing comedy sketches and 
songs to help cheer up lock down spirits with 
the aid of her musician and producer husband 
Marcel and the internet. 
After Covid Mel and Marcel continued their 
journey with live gigs and films which illustrate 
their songs, producing and recording from their 
home a former Georgian pub in Manningtree 
Essex. 
“Our quirky songs are all about life, waiting at 
stations looking for missing trains, coping with 
noisy families, celebrating Essex girls, going to 
funerals, anxiety.   
These songs are comments on life for all ages 
and reflect our experience of being parents  
and having had a life lived on the London art scene.
